of all we were impressed by crocodile park Krokotaun - a buffer zone
around where Yucatan crocodiles live and breed, pink flamingos and many
other species of animals and birds. Rio Lagartos (Rio Lagartos) - Crocodile
River is located on the coast of Mexico. From a small fishing village
on a motor boat we made our way through the mangrove jungle, which had
hundreds of species of birds and crocodiles, and entered the pink flamingos park. This is one of the few places on earth where you can see the pink
flamingos in the wild. Pink flamingos’ color is caused by eating
little red crustaceans that contain carotenoids. Redness of feathers

are strikingly impressive with their ease and elegant grace. Their snow-white
plumage, as it dissolves in the reflection of the pink salt, and bright
red and black patches on the flap rhythmically merge with purplish-black
circles, floating in the tired eyes of the observer. The pink flamingo eats mainly
small reddish shrimp Artemia and its eggs. In addition, the flamingos feed on
other crayfish, and mollusks, insect larvae, worms. The food they were looking
